Tuaregs, Mali by Harry & Jean Wickens

Guildford Travel Club meets at Onslow Village Hall on alternate Tuesdays from October to April at 8.00pm.

Membership is £28 per annum; Student Card Holders - £14. There are 12 lectures during the season plus an informal annual Social, the AGM and the opportunity to attend ‘Members Evenings’ (no extra charge).

Visitors are welcome - £5 per evening; Student Card Holders - £2.50

Complimentary refreshments are served during the interval at meetings.

The Evening Format

A typical evening programme has the following format:
Doors open at 7:30pm
The programme starts at 8:00pm with Chairman's announcements followed by
Part 1 of the slide show for 45 to 60 minutes
Tea/Coffee break for 20 minutes
Part 2 of the slide show to finish about 10:00pm

All the speakers have an interesting story to tell and a set of slides to capture your imagination.

These are the main items of the programme, but they may be subject to change due to circumstances beyond our control. Other events will be announced at the meetings and in our newsletters.

MEMBERS' EVENINGS:

Members’ evenings are given during the season for Members by Members in their own homes. Full details may be obtained and seats booked at regular Club meetings. We would like to be able to offer a wide programme of Members Evenings this season, so if you take slides and have some interesting travels to share, please do let us know. If you cannot accommodate a dozen or so people in your own home, someone else in the Club can usually be found to provide the venue.
