to write about it afterwards”. Founded in 1966, the club meets on alternate Tuesdays from October to April for lectures, illustrated by slides projected onto an 8 foot screen. |

| In addition to the regular meetings, a series of informal lectures is presented as ‘Members Evenings’ in members’ own homes throughout the season, for the showing of slides, discussion and the exchange of ‘Travellers Tales’ about their own widespread travels. |
